Ever wondered how to throw the cutest bachelorette party New Orleans style? Well my 4 friends in those black shirts could teach you a thing or two.
I’ve never just took off on a vacation with my best friends, but man we’re gonna have to start doing that more often! It was so nice to relax and have some fun amidst all this stressful wedding planning. And I couldn’t have asked for a better crew, honestly.

We chose New Orleans because I have family there and we strategically found free housing (aka my aunt graciously offered for us to stay with her) so it was a relatively inexpensive trip! We drove down (a 12 hour road trip from good ol’ Indiana) and the ride was even fun!
The Activites

We did a lot of things in our long weekend in New Orleans. Those activites weren’t all on Bourbon Street, although a lot of them were. 🙂
The first full day we were there we went on an Bayou tour where we saw tons of alligators and had the most fun! We ended that day with a hiking trip through boardwalks on top of a large swamp and a beautiful overlooking view of New Orleans.
The Goods

They really and truly spoiled me all weekend, from those trendy “I said Yes, We Said Nola” (These are not the exact shirts we have in the photos, one of my bridesmaids made these herself. But these are similar.) shirts to these adorable tumblers, I was completely taken care of all weekend. Gosh, aren’t they just the best?!?

The Bachelorette Party
They threw such an incredible party for me our second night there, which was probably super hard to pull off considering they had to purchase all the stuff ahead of time and take it with them down to New Orleans in the car without me ever seeing it.
But it turned out so cute! Penis cake and all.

Our last night on Bourbon Street they took me out to do a scavenger hunt. We had to get pictures of me with everything on the list. Those pictures, however, are confidential. 😉
I hope this post gave you all the ideas to throw an amazing bachelorette party New Orleans style! My friends are truly amazing for doing this for me.
And to the girls who did this for me: thank you, thank you, thank you!
