Wanna throw a Minnie Mouse birthday party with homemade decorations? I think that’s a great idea because honestly, what kid out there doesn’t love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? I’ll wait…
Therefore, that’s why a Mickey and/or Minnie Mouse birthday party is perfect for that little one in your life who has a birthday coming up.
This post has detailed pictures of Minnie Mouse party decorations that are easy to DIY yourself.
The Banner

Let’s be honest, coming up with cute + creative ways to make my banners new and different for each party is my new thang. For instance, I love adding a splash of uniqueness to each banner. This banner’s uniqueness: the adorable bow and minnie mouse ears!

Close up, you can see that the letters are made of pink glitter paper and in person it truly makes the letters pop.
And I’m loving the light pink/ dark pink contrast between the large circle and the bow. That way, whatever color scheme you chose for your party, this banner can fit right in!

The Cupcake Toppers

Cupcake toppers are a great way to add a little pizzazz to your dessert table. They’re subtle, super easy to create if you have the right tools, and you can use them on things that aren’t cupcakes too (like cakes, brownies, anything really).

These pink bow cupcake toppers are made with the same paper bow that was used to create the happy birthday banner. And it works really well with the rest of the party decorations!

The Paper Mache ONE Art

Paper Mache letters are one of my best kept secrets for beautifying a party space. Whether you leave them that brown color they come, paint them, or add some cut paper to spruce them up, they’re always beautiful.
They take up just the right amount of space, and they’re easy to create.

Unfortunately, they are super time consuming to create, however, which makes them seem a bit daunting. But if you grab some paint and maybe a glass of wine, throw some good TV on, and get to painting the time will fly!

So if I sold you on the minnie mouse birthday party theme, GREAT! I believe it’s a super easy, not very time consuming, and adorable birthday theme for any little one out there.
